Punchlists / Checklists: let me generate a checkable list from estimates, photos, etc

I already have a handoff estimate with all the scope of work and tasks described. However, I can’t send that to my crew. Let me generate a simple checklist from my estimate or based on my prompts, and send it to my team.
I can use this for my final sitewalks with the homeowner too. I could take photos, video walkthroughs, etc, and create this checklist. Then I can send it to my crew to execute the checklist.

    Tasks/to-Dos

I could really use tasks in the calendar. Events that I could post with a specific date, but that remain present until I mark them complete. And then the ability to see all open tasks in a list view. Having custom labels to be able to add and filter via would also be needed. Labels on everything would be a useful feature(projects, calendar events, etc)

The idea being I meet with a lead, and tell them I will followup next week to schedule a meeting. I put in a todo for next Monday. If I miss it on Monday, I need it to stay visible without having to search through a calendar. So I can look a a list view of all non completed tasks across all projects.

This would also work for projects like a task to order cabinets for a job,I set it for a date, but it remains visible on my list until I mark it complete.

Ideally these could bidirectionally link to google calendar tasks.

      Assign estimate items to contacts

I want to be able to assign tasks to crews, or employees, or subcontractors.

This would translate over to the schedule then also.

So when I first create the estimate, all plumbing tasks are assigned to PLUMBER.

Then I can assign the actual plumber to those tasks.

In an ideal setup, I can send out bids based on these assignments, so I can create a bid for all tasks assigned to PLUMBER, and then send that to multiple plumbers.

If they are registered as sub contractors, they could subimt their bid through handoff, and we can review the bids and accept through handoff just like a customer would accept our proposal. That would then trigger any steps we need, like preparing a contract, verifying the insurance is up to date, etc.

In an even better ideal situation, subcontractors can register on handoff, and upload their pricing rules, that way handoff can compare its standard pricing model against actual subcontrator’s pricing, and we could hire directly through handoff.

You could probably offer the service for a small percentage of every job sold to subcontractors so they are only paying a subscription if they are selling jobs through handoff.
