I could really use tasks in the calendar. Events that I could post with a specific date, but that remain present until I mark them complete. And then the ability to see all open tasks in a list view. Having custom labels to be able to add and filter via would also be needed. Labels on everything would be a useful feature(projects, calendar events, etc)
The idea being I meet with a lead, and tell them I will followup next week to schedule a meeting. I put in a todo for next Monday. If I miss it on Monday, I need it to stay visible without having to search through a calendar. So I can look a a list view of all non completed tasks across all projects.
This would also work for projects like a task to order cabinets for a job,I set it for a date, but it remains visible on my list until I mark it complete.
Ideally these could bidirectionally link to google calendar tasks.
