The idea is this is a mirror of the contractor’s project. It’s the client’s one stop shop for all their objects (proposals, invoices, change orders, outstanding balance, access to receipts, etc).
Clients should be able to see the current status of their estimate or project (e.g., In Review, Approved, In Progress, Completed) from their client-facing view. Right now there's no visibility into where things stand without the contractor manually communicating it. Adding a status tag to the client portal would reduce back-and-forth and keep clients informed automatically.
