Sometimes, a client needs a visual to picture what the final project will look like. That rendering can help me win the deal. If AI could make a rendering of the room, the deck, the new ADU, etc at the early stage of this estimate, it would make me look more professional and help me close jobs.

create template for client message, info on invoices, footers, documents. I do not like the pre filled in client message, I have to tell the chat agent to change it every time. I also want to include a personalized message when I send out an invoice like I can with a proposal. I also want to include my signature with my name, title, contact info email and number on all my messages. At this time I have to manually add it in.

In Terms &amp; Conditions you can load those but only one of your presets is can be applied in the proposal . If you can load more than one preset Terms &amp; Conditions you can modify the structure of those terms of you to multiple different projects like we do. I would like to be able to select more than one preset in the terms &amp; conditions section. Would also like a section before that for Option or Add Alternates that otherwise font add into the total of a project versus uploading a bunch of attachments which makes it more unprofessional.

I think also a good feature that could be added would be a schedule or a calendar somewhat. Something in there that has the start date of the project the end date of the project that way you’re able to stay a little bit more organized.

I would be able to consolidate one of my tools that we currently use if you were able to do something like that.

My ideal flow:
1- lead lands on your google business page and contacts you, or a mail campaign and calls you.
2- you use Zapier to send that lead's info to Handoff as a lead, along with any receiving project information
3- you create an estimate for that lead in Handoff, using any already-received notes.

Handoff lets me track a proposal from draft to approved. That’s nice, but that’s only the first phases. I want to move my approved proposals to “job” statuses, like Scheduling, Purchasing, In Progress, Work Completed, Paid. Everyone’s status names are a little different. I’d like to manually move them between statuses. this lets me track several in progress jobs at a glance.

The idea is this is a mirror of the contractor’s project. It’s the client’s one stop shop for all their objects (proposals, invoices, change orders, outstanding balance, access to receipts, etc).

To track budgets vs actual, I need to know my actual labor costs. The only way I know those is by tracking hours and thus labor costs per project. I need my crew to log these hours themselves, daily. I should then be able to compared hours estimated vs hours actually worked (BvA).
