Separate Project Status from Change Order Status

Please separate the project lifecycle from the change order lifecycle. When a change order is submitted for an active project, the project should remain In Progress while only the change order is marked Pending Approval. Automatically moving an active project back to Bidding creates inaccurate project tracking and requires unnecessary manual status changes. This would better reflect real-world construction workflows and improve dashboard reporting.
