More issues with Daily Logs (beta)

I just created (another) daily log for today and it posted with a May 1 date even though today is April 30. See pic.

Is this because I already created a log entry for 4/30 before creating this one? If so, then this means I can't have multiple entries for the same day, which is silly because it assumes the user will remember everything that was done at EOD when that's hardly the case.

You should let me enter N entries for a given day.

Also, it appears that I cannot edit entries after they've been shared onto the portal. Again, why? Seems like another silly limitation.
