I may want specific pictures included in the remodel section, a picture of the proposed deck in the deck section, etc.
It would also be great to be able to put pictures of materials. so If we specify a specific door hardware, the picture can be included in the proposal with that line.
Also on change orders, this would be helpful.
And if we get to material selections, it would be great to show 3 types of flooring with picture of each, and the customer can choose the 1 they want.
In an ideal world allowances could be handled this way. we goto contract with an allowance for hardwood floors. I choose an actual product, that is listed as the default allowanced material, the client also gets multiple other options of flooring to choose from with the cost and a deadline to change. so thye have until November 1st to change the flooring type, anytime up until then they can simply choose a different floor from the options and accept that as a change order.
