Give me the option to let clients partially pay an invoice (and track partial progress payments)

Right now, clients can only pay an invoice in full. Sometimes, they simply don’t have the funds. This creates work for me to make new invoices for the smaller amounts. Instead, Give me the option to let clients partially pay an invoice.

I may not allow it on all jobs or invoices. But let me control that option. I would need a history of what value was paid when.

    Hi all, Handoff now lets you log partial payments towards invoices. We heard feedback that sometimes users just need to log checks or log cash payments towards a larger invoice. That’s now available. You can read more about how to do it here:

    Hi all, Handoff is working to support partial payments on invoices. We’re about a month out. You’ll also be able to select whether you’re billing a %, a fixed $ value, or specific trade groups to invoice for. If a customer hands you a check for a partial amount, we’ll have a flow to support logging that too.
