Manual Takeoff/Labeling tool: Let users upload drawings and sketch.
Have the ability to draw a floor plan, or sketch on the existing plan and show the customer visually. Basically sketching inside the handoff app.
In the “Upload plans” tool, allow users to manually draw a perimeter line around the surface of the house. Let them label and highlight that perimeter to give the AI clearer context for generating takeoffs. This would be especially useful for siding work. manually outlining the perimeter when plan dimensions aren’t exact.

Manual Perimeter Drawing & Labeling in Upload Plans Tool
In the “Upload plans” tool, allow users to manually draw a perimeter line around the surface of the house.

Freeform Sketching tool: Let me sketch the project layout in Handoff.
My other programs have an online sketching tool. We’re talking a simple way to draw a few rectangles or free-form floor plans with measurements. A sketch can go a long way for clients, and it helps me keep track of job sizes.
1- this helps AI give me better quantities.
2- I need to put these images in my invoices or proposals to justify my work.
AI sometimes misses the quantities. Let me draw the room for it.
Also, insurance companies require sketches of the room layouts as part of releasing the funds. I need to pay for a 2nd tool to do this.
