After a proposal is approved, I’d the system to automatically send out the first invoice which would be the deposit as stated in my payment schedule listed on the proposal.
It would be good to offer the downpayment/deposit automatically once a client approves the project. Being forced to set up and send a separate invoice can lead to lost leads, forgotten payments, and general frustration. If payment schedule has been set up, and the client approves, they should automatically be offered a chance to pay.
